Careful,special planning of the concrete mixing plants and material handling systems is required from storage of the aggregate and binders to placement of the concrete.When planning,it is important to address the requirements for a high production output of high quality as well as the economical production which has to be sustained over a lengthy period. The key considerations for the o-verall planning process are discussed in this article.
