The Technology of Slope-Fizing with Turned-Over Formwork for Construction of Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam
Upstream slope protection of cushion materials is a key step for construction of Concrete Faced Rock-fill Dam. The method of slope roller compaction has been widely used both at home and abroad at present,the application of extrusion wall method has also developed in recent years,but both of them have obvious shortcomings. The technology of slope-fixing with turned-over form-work applies formwork in construction of upstream slope face of cushion materials,and the filling of cushion materials and slope-fixing by motar can be achieved simultaneously,with even slope surface,high construction efficiency and low construction cost. The dam can retain water at any time during flood period with high security. Owing to the small stiffness and drawknot effect of tie bar,cavity between the slopefixing mortar and cushion material can be avoided,which is propitious to the safety of the face structure. This technology is of great significance for solving problems on coordinate deformation between upstream slope protective layer and the dambody,cavity prevention and face structure safety of high dams and super-high dams with great deformation. This technology is the Sci-tech achievement of self-directed innovation,has reached the international advanced level and has a good prospect of application and extension;it has been successfully used in CFRD works of Shuang-gou Hydropower Station and upper resevoir of Pushihe Pumped-storage Power Station and gained obvious technical and economic benefits. The patent application of this technology has been accepted,which was presented in bulletin of invention patent on October 24th,2007.It has won the First Class of Scientific and Technological Progress in 2007,and was confirmed as the construction method of sinohydro Corporation. The Technical Regulations on Method of Slope-fixing with Turned-over Formwork was worked out after the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission in 2008.
