Studies on Behavior of Yele Asphalt Concrete Core Wall Dam
The paper analyzed the dislocation deformation,stress,strain,temperature,etc. Of asphalt concrete core wall of Yele dam on the South Edgeworthia papyrifera River of Sichuan Province of China.It uses traditional analysis methods and establishes mathematical model.It combines of qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation in the analysis. Through the analysis,it is found that the dislocation deformation between the core wall and the concrete plinth stabilizes between-1.02-0.60 mm;the dislocation deformation between the core and the transitional material stabilizes between-55.25-7.30 mm;the compressive stress of the core wall on the basement is-2.10-0.16 MPa;the upstream and downstream surface of the core wall present compressive strain,with the upstream & downstream strains being of -24.04 κμε and -42.30 κμε respectively;the upstream and downstream water level difference is 113.3 m. Therefore,it can be said that the impermeability of the core wall is good and the behavior of stress and strain is normal.
