Analysis on the Data from Earthquake Monitoring of Yele Dam
Yele dam is located in the region of high active earthquake.Due to the particular geologic condition and the complicated structure of the dam,it is quite necessary to establish a strong earthquake monitoring station to record the dams seismic response momentarily.Construction of the station was completed in December,2005. There are nine strong-motion seismographs placed on the dam and nine earthquakes have been recorded during the two years. Through the analysis of these earthquake records in this paper,some seismic response laws of Yele dam have been found and the data for the dams earthquakeresistance evaluation is accumulated.
