Analysis for the Value of Time of the Commodity Transport Using VE Method

摘要：

Study for the value of time is an important factor to analyze the transport behavior or evaluation the economic effect of transport. This paper presents a new thinking of the utility function of time based on the random utility model and suing value engineering (VE) method. A cost utility model of the transport and computing of the value coefficient is presented, and the model parameters are estimated by means of maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). Finally, a concrete example is illustrated in this paper.
