Selection of Gas Pipeline System Schemes Based on Value Engineering

摘要：

The paper presents a study on selection of gas pipeline system schemes by using value engineering (VE) methodology. It is composed of three sectionsthe theory of value engineering, application of value engineering in selection of the gas pipeline system schemes and a case study. Based on the principle of value engineering, a mathematical model for selection of gas pipeline system schemes is constructed. The paper chiefly deal with the function structure of gas pipeline system, and formulates the value engineering method to evaluate the gas pipeline system schemes. As a new parameter, the value index of gas pipeline system can provide some good advice to the design of gas supply system from economic and technological points of view.
