The Research on the Relationship between Producer Services and Industry

For years, industry accounting for nearly 90% of the second industry has made tremendous contribution to Chinas economy. Producer services has a rapid development in the process of industrialization, conversely, its rapid development provides a huge boost for industry. In this paper, we use co integration analysis method and establish a vector error correction model to study the relationship between Chinas producer services and industry. The study results show that, in either the respect of short-term fluctuation, or that of long-term equilibrium, Chinas industry is influenced unequally by the output value growths of the producer services sectors, i.e. transport, storage and post sector, financial intermediation sector and real estate sector. In addition, industry has relatively strong inertia in short-term, as well the reverse adjustment capacity derived from long-term equilibrium.
