The Application of Value Engineering in the Analysis of Design Schemes in Petrochemical Project
Value engineering has been widely used in all aspects of national economy of some foreign countries. However, there is limited deep research or wide application in our country, because of the relatively late start. Therefore, this paper mainly demonstrates the application of value engineering in the analysis of design schemes of petrochemical project According to the basic principles and elementally analysis criterions of value engineering, we extended its analysis functions and established corresponding models in functional analysis modulus, cost analysis modulus and value analysis modulus. Furthermore, we showed the realization process of this analysis method by real-life cases in business operation. At last, the optimized schemes were identified. Highly hopping this method and mold could provide a benchmark in the analysis of design schemes and finally be widely used in petrochemical project.
