Study on Strength Test for Civilian Pyrotechnics
The object of research was strength test on civilian pyrotechnics by lead block method. Under the natural accumulation density, strength of 10.0 g of powdery Lei powder, Black powder and Red powder is 113.56 mL, 51.58 mL and 52.49 mL, but strength of 10.0 g of (O)3 and (O)10 Red powder is 36.48 mL and 22.56 mL respectively. The results show that strength of different formulations pyrotechnics displays prodigious difference and the power determination of Lei powder is largish and it has a higher sensitivity in the diverse types of pyrotechnics, but strength of Red powder will be lessening with augment of diameter on pyrotechnics. The relation between strength test of pyrotechnics and experimental conditions, equipment and loading density was analyzed and identified systematically, and then the relative merits on lead block method would be indicated.
