Study on Diameter Effect and Curvature Effect of Two Dimensional Detonation Wave with DSD Method

Recent extension to DSD theory and modeling argue that the intrinsic front propagation law depends on such variables as the shock-front curvature and explosive diameter. DSD theory calibrates the model using the relation of steady velocity with explosive diameter combined with curvature effect and computes its effect on IHE detonation wave propagation. Results confirm that with the same density, steady velocity decreases with the reduction of explosive diameter. And with the same curve, normal velocity decreases with the reduction of explosive diameter.
