Assessment of geological and ecological risks of major construction objects(By the ezample of preparation for Winter Olympic games Sochi-2014

摘要：

The Sochi territory represents a special area in Russia, rich in unique natural, climatic, and recreational resources. Its situated in the area where exogenous and endogenous geological processes actively manifest themselves. Authors emphasize necessity of creation a comprehensive system for seismotectonic environment analysis, forecast and prevention of hazardous geological processes as part of the Regional Program. This program is directed on protection of an ecological condition of region and ensuring seismic safety of Olympic facilities.
