Landslide susceptibility analysis around highway in Korea

The purpose of study is to evaluate landslide susceptibility near highway in Korea. To extract the factors influencing landslide, a database constructed from topographic map, geological map, a slope data. Then, factors causing landslide like as slope height, slope length, gradient, upper slope gradient, lithology, distance from fault, dip direction were extracted to evaluate relationship with landslide and related factors. weight of evidence, analytic hierarchy process were applied to implement rating, weighting of each factors and combination was carried out for landslide susceptibility mapping. Produced map was verified by comparing with the surveyed landslide occurrence point for calculating prediction accuracy quantitatively.
