Theoretical solution study for deformation parameters of interphase soft and hard layered rock
At the southwestern part of China, the dam rock mass of many preparation large-scale hydropower projects composed by interphase soft and hard layered rock mass with different lithoiogical characters. Because of the different rock lithologies with different deformation parameters, so the typical characteristic of interphase soft and hard layered rock mass is aeolotropism. Under the role of external forces, the different lithologic rock deformation process in the mutual influence, mutual coordination, how to correctly evaluate the interphase soft and hard layered rock mass deformation parameters on the General Project for the construction of project and safety are essential. This article analysis the rock mechanical properties of the inter- phase soft and hard layered rock mass, determine the main controlling factor of comprehensive deformation parameters, namely, interphase soft and hard layered rock mass deformation parameters decided by direction of the external forces, the deformation parameters of the different rock lithology, the angle relationship between the bedding plane of rock and the external forces, the thickness of each rock layer. And according to the interphase soft and hard layered rock mass in the actual engineering corresponding physical and mechanical models, then set up Constitutive equation of interphase soft and hard layered rock mass based on elasticity, which was the theoretical solution of comprehensive deformation parameters about the interphase soft and hard layered rock mass. This study not only of great theoretic,d significance is also of great practical value.
