The lightweighting is the main measure for vehicle “energy—saving．It is a major development trends,and there are many technology routes to achieve the lightweighting．In this paper. The development of vehicle lightweighting in Baosteel is introduced in recent years,focusing on highstrength steel and advanced manufacturing technology development．
