Research on Microstructures Transformation Laws and Fractures Mechanisms of Low Carbon Silicon-Manganese TRIP Steels

The microstructures transformation laws and fractures mechanisms of low carbon silicon-manganese TRIP steels in simple tension state were researched by using TEM and SEM. The finals show that the microstructures before deformation of TRIP steels include ferrite,bainite and retained austenite,and the part retained austenites were transformed into martensites with twining structure at the condition of tensile strain. The plastic deformation firstly occur in ferrites,and then the glide bands and micro-pores appear,the micro-pores gradually evolution into micro-cracks,the retained austenites in the grain boundaries of ferrites were transformed,the stresses were relaxed and the fractures were delayed,so the higher plasticity of TRIP steels were gained.
