Grain Boundary Segregation of Phosphorus in High Strength IF Steel during Recrystallization Annealing
The cold rolled(reduction of 75%) phosphorus-bearing IF steels of 1 mm thickness were recrystallization annealed for different times at 810℃. The microstructure, grain sizes, coincident site lattice (CSL)and segregation of p atoms on grain boundaries were researched for the annealed IF steel by optical microscopy(OM)and scanning electron.microstrueture(SEM)and high resolution transmission electron microstrueture(HRTEM). The reslllts showed that the steel finished reerystallization completely after the cold steels sheet were annealing for 180 s,360 s and 600 s respectively at 810℃. The grain size became larger with increasing the annealing time. Most of the CSL were ∑3 and there were also Σ7 and ∑9 and∑11 and∑19a et a1. The grain boundary broadened and there were higher density dislocations and P atoms and phosphide on grain boundary after the IF steels were annealed. The amount of P segregated on grain boundary increased with increasing the annealing time.
