Effect of Processing Technology on Microstructures and Properties of 780 MPa Hot Dip Galvanized Dual Phase Steel
Microstructures properties and processing technology of 780 MPa cold rolling hot dip galvanized dual phase steels were studied in this paper. The experimental results indicate that the microstructures of hot dip galvanized dual phase steel are ferrite and martensite. Furthermore, the martensite islands distribute uniformly in the ferrite matrix. Under 780℃ annealing temperature and 100 s soaking time, the tensile strength of hot dip galvanized dual phase steel can be reached about 800 MPa,and the total elongation can be attained as much as 15%. The volume fraction of martensite together with the yield strength and tensile strength of hot dip galvanized dual phase steel turns to decrease with the annealing temperature increase. The biggest total elongation is occurred at 820℃ ,the second one is at 840℃,and the total elongations at 780℃ and 800℃ are represented relatively lower. As coiling temperature increases, the volume fraction of martensite, the yield strength and tensile strength after hot dip galvanized annealing turn to decrease. However, the total elongation represents to increase as coiling temperature ascends.
