Numerical Simulation of Springback Prediction of S-Shaped High Strength Steel
The springback phenomenon in high strength steel stamping is a crucial problem in technological designing and controlling which affects the accuracy of the forming parts. Numerical simulation technology can be used to predict the sheet forming and springback and analyze the factors that affect the shape and dimensional accuracy. In the current paper,the springback mechanisms and forming characters of Sshaped parts are introduced. The finite element methods are carried out to simulate the high strength sheet metal forming and springback. The influential factors on springback are obtained,including blank holder force and the geometry of the drawbeads.
