Numerical Simulation of Ultra-high Strength Steel Hot Stamping Process
In order to enhance vehicle safety and reduce the autobody mass,ultra-high strength steel hot stamping technology is promoted gradually. In this paper,thermo-mechanical coupled elastic viscoplastic finite element method has been used to simulate the hot stamping process. The construction of FEM model,boundary conditions and loading are expatiated in details. The temperature field and the thickness change of the blank under different stamping temperature are obtained. This paper provides references for the simulation of the ultrahigh strength steel hot stamping.
