Co-Crystallisation in the Caffeine/Maleic Acid System Lessons From Phase Equilibria.

摘要：

Previous studies of the co-crystallising system caffeine-maleic acid has shown the existence of 1:1 and 2:1 co-crystals together with a new polymorph of maleic acid. In this current work we have attempted to rationalize this behaviour through measurement of the binary and ternary phase diagrams.
