Degradation Kinetics in Aqueous Solution of Cefurozime Sodium
The degradation kinetics in Aqueous Solution of Cefuroxime Sodium was investigated by a HPLC method under different conditions (concentration, temperature, and EDTA disodium salt solution). Cefuroxime sodium stability had little to do with its initial concentration, but showed lower stability as increasing temperature. Cefuroxime sodium stability was found satisfactory (<10% degradation) for 26h, 19.3h, 8.4h, 4.0h, 2.5h if kept at a temperature of 15 , 25 ℃ ℃, 35℃, 39℃, 45℃h respectively. The degradation rate did not change much,even the color change slowed in EDTA disodium salt solution. Meanwhile, there was a difference from chromatogram, that is, at about 2min, an obvious characteristic peak appeared.
