The Preparation of Poly Ethylene Glycol Pellets by A New Vibrating Crusher Machine

In this paper, a new vibrating crusher machine with the controlled system of liquid flow rate and the stirring device in coagulation line for avoiding the pellet conglutination was designed and used to prepare the pellets of poly ethylene glycol. The effect factors in average size and diameter deviation including the amplitude and frequency of the vibration and the flow rate of the liquid were discussed by response surface methodology and the Rayleigh theory. The mixing speed and power of stirring device were evaluated by calculating mixing power number. The experiments show that the equipment can be controlled conveniently and work stable and suitable for preparing pellets with Chinese and Western medicines.
