Design of the System for COD Monitoring online

Many standard chemical titration methods used for solve the serious water pollution problem have limitations such as secondary pollution and long detection time. This paper designs the COD monitoring system of upper and lower structure.Under-bit machine uses the SCM as the control core. The liquid crystal display simulation circuit is given in this paper.Signal detection is based on the properties of UV absorption spectrum to converse the COD value.PC communicates with under-bit machine through the serial port. The man-machine monitoring and control interface is implemented with Visual C++ on PC,realizing the real-time data display,historical data query,storage and more alarm and so on.It adopts the support vector machine regression algorithm for building the adaptive model. The experimental data indicated that the measurement results of this system are basically the same as the results of standard chemical titration method. The system has high measurement speed,non-polluting,and is easy for remote monitoring.
