Analysis on Vibration Characteristics of Coriolis Mass Flow Sensor
Coriolis mass flowmeter(CMF) is significant in many industrial and commercial areas. The Coriolis mass flow sensor is one of the CMF components, which is essential to the performance and precise. The objectives of the work to be presented here were to investigate the vibration characteristics of Coriolis mass flow sensor by experiment, using commercial meters (U-shape tubes). By applying an external impulse force on the sensor tubes with a hammer attached to a force transducer. The detecting sensors detect the amplitude of tube motion, which are connected to the data acquisition and signal processing system (DASP) for data sampling and analysis. Firstly, get the amplitude and phase frequency chart data of two detecting sensors. secondly, get the amplitude-frequency chart data of three knock points. From these results, characteristics of this Coriolis mass flow sensors can be got,and it will direct to enhance the performance of the meters. Also the influencing factors can be amended in details from this type of experiment.
