Wireless Thermometric System Based on the ZigBee Technology

A wireless thermometric system is developed based on the ZigBee technology through the application of PIC16F648A (MCU) and QRF-0400 wireless module, which is protocol for wirelessly networked control and monitoring applications, and has the properties of low node power dissipation, high reliability and mesh networking capabilities. The principle of ZigBee protocol stack and operating principle of the wireless sensor network node are illustrated in detail, the principle of transmission control nodes and power-saving sleep mode are discussed, and the implementation strategy of point-to-multipoint (star) networks is put forward. The network management software developed by Delphi language is also introduced. The thermometric system has been applied in the high voltage switchboard in power plant substation, and had solved the problem that thermometric detection can not be made by cable on some high-voltage power supply occasions.
