Studies on Mineral, Fatty Acid, pH, Phenol and Electron Donating Ability of Castor Aralia (Kalpanaz pictus) Feed

1. Introduction Castor Aralia was known as thing which pharmacological effect is excellent. Medical effect is anticancer action, anti-glycosuria and anti-mold. specially, study of medical effect of Castor Aralia is achieved much But, there are few studies about feed value that the domestic animals can use. Therefore, this study was carried out to investigate the feed value of mineral, fatty acid, pH, phenol and electron donating ability on the branch and leaf of Castor Aralia(Kalpanax pictus). 2. Materials and Methods Material was the branch and leaf in 5 years old seeding of Castor Aralia(Kalpanax pictus). The Mineral was determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma, fatty acid content was determined by the method of Folch et al.(1957). pH measurement was recorded using digital pH meter. Total phenol was determined by the method of Folin-Denis(1912), and electron donating ability was method of Blois(1958). All statistical analyses were computes using the GLM procedures of sAS software(SAS Institute, 2001).
