Ezploring Refinability of Multi-Criteria Decisions
This paper used the Structured Multi-Criteria Methodology and the Direct-Interactive Structured-Criteria (DISC) MultiCriteria Decision-Making (MCDM) system to explore the refinability of decisions in dialogue between Decision Advisors (Das) and Decision-Makers (DMs). The study showed the importance of a sensitive DA/DM interaction,of using iterative cycles to complete stages, and that the Das should have confidence in the full eight stage MCDM structured process when helping DMs to reach a decision.
