Fuzzy Optimal Decision for Network Bandwidth Allocation with Demand Uncertainty
In this paper,a fuzzy methodology is proposed to optimize network bandwidth allocation with demand uncertainty in communication networks (CNs).In this proposed methodology,uncertain traffic demands are first handled by a fuzziflcation way. Then a fuzzy optimization methodology is presented for network bandwidth allocation problem with the consideration of the trade-off between resource utilization and service performance in CNs. Accordingly,the optimal network bandwidth is allocated to obtain maximum network revenue in cNs.Finally,a numerical example is presented for purpose of illustration.
