Effects of Reclaimed Water on Physiological Parameters and Stress Resistance of Turf-grasses in Different Temperatures

For understanding the physiological parameters and stress resistance of turf-grasses in different temperatures in response to irrigation with reclaimed water and assessing the feasibility of using the reclaimed water as an alternative irrigation source for lawn in Beijing, a investigation has been conducted. The results are as followed: The effect of reclaimed water active the scavenging system to weaken the damage of cell membrane stability for Loliumperewne L. and Festuca arundinaeu Schreb. Reclaimed water irrigation strengthen the detrimental effect of temperature stress on Poapratensis L. we concluded that their feasibility to different water-sources under temperature stress are as follow: high temperature, Festuca arundinaeu Schreb with RW, Festuca arundinaeu Schreb with DW, Loliumperewne L. with RW, Poapratensis L with DW, Loliumperewne L.with DW, Poapratensis L with RW, low temperature, Festuca arundinaeu Schreb with RW, Loliumperewne L.with RW, Poapratensis L with DW, Festuca arundinaeu Schreb with DW, Loliumperewne L.with DW, Poapratensis L with RW.
