Advanced Treatment of Landfill Leachate by Ozonation-Biological Aerated Filter

摘要：

The combining processes of ozonation and biological aerated filter (BAF) were used in the advanced treatment of landfill leachate after routine treatment. The biodegradability of the organic pollutants was improved by ozonation. Color of the wastewater was reduced markedly after the treatment of ozonation. Ozonation was really a favorable means for wastewater treatment. Biological aerated filter was adopted as the further treatment, when dosage of ozone and retention time of BAF were controlled, CODCr of the effluent could be reduced to lower than 100 mg/L, which had met the national first-grade standard of effluent.
