Process for Wastewater Treatment of Anion Ezchange Fiber Preparation by Cleaning Production

The research in this paper is carried out to deal with the major pollutants in the preparation of anion exchange fiber, particularly the chloromethylation reaction waste liquid, the amination reaction waste liquid and the detergent fiber waste liquid. In the experiment, both the demixion method and the methyl alcohol cleaning method are proved to be efficient in the wastewater treatment. The former method is employed to treat the chloromethylation reaction waste liquid by demixion. In the upper layer solution, CME (Chloromethyl Methyl Ether) and methylal (dimethoxymethane) are formed while in the lower layer solution, Zinc chloride is recycled, which provides a solution to the pollution problem and reduces the cost of CME. The latter method, with trimethylammonium chloride as the agent, is efficient in cleaning the remains of reaction waste liquid, thus ensuring the fiber strength. Furthermore, combined with the amination reaction, methyl alcohol cleaning method contributes a lot to a consistent, recyclable and low-cost preparation. The research indicates that the pH value of the wastewater is 7, which meets the state discharge standard.
