Design of Tester for Treating Domestic Sewage by Using CASS Technique
This article aims at examining the treatment effect of municipal sewage plants, and thus providing referential valve to the operations of sewage plants by simulating a small-scaled tester using CASS technique, according to treatment system of municipal sewage plant. Design of the tester using CASS technique and its key parameters are sludge load 0.065 Kg BOD5/(KgMLSS.d), ratio of draining 1/3, HRT (Hydraulic Retention Time) 18.5h .Its reaction period contains influent 0.5h, influent-aeration 1h, aeration 2h, sedimentation 1h, and effluent 1.5h. Effluent quality meets the requirements the GB 18918-2002 Standard for Discharge of Pollutants from Sewage Treatment Works in Towns and Cities IB.
