Research on the Optimum Operational Cycle of the Biological Aerated Filter
In order to determine the operation cycle of BAF, methods of testing pressure of filter are applied here in this paper, the instantaneous flow rate and the dirt amount intercepted by the filter media. The results indicated that the operation cycle is closely related to the pressure. The formula of the first level filter is p1=88.290+0.021Q+0.011X and that of the second level filter is p1=59.406+0.025Q+0.013X.
