Study on Optimization of Coupling Effect of Ozidation and Flocculation in Removal of Algal Pollution with Reagent of Fe2+-H2O2

Coupling effect of advanced oxidation and flocculation of system of H2O2-Fe2+ was investigated in the process of algal pollution removal in jar tests in room. Standard jar tests were conducted in a mixer equipped with six paddle jar apparatus. Algae in treated water were cultured in room, and the algae were principally Chlorella and Scenedesmus. Treated water was raw cultured containing algae water, and that is to say we didn’t regulate the water quality, and pH of water was near 8.5, temperature of water was near 20 degrees centigrade. Chlorophyll a, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus were analysis as surface targets of algal pollution. The results shows that high removal efficiency of algal pollution is attained in the process of algal pollution removing by system of H2O2-Fe2+. Simultaneously, an organic coupling effect of advanced oxidation of hydroxyl radical and flocculation of complexes of Fe3+ is achieved under natural pH value.
