Diozins Biodegradation in the Bagasse Solid Medium by White Rot Fungi
This study was carried out to explore the degradation of three kinds of dioxins -dibenzofuran (DF), 2, 7-dichlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (2, 7-diCDD) and Octoachlorodibenzofuran (OCDF) by white rot fungus Phlebia radiata I-5-6 in bagasse solid medium. The results by gas chromatography showed that degradation rates of DF, 2, 7-diCDD and OCDF by the strain in 12 days incubation were 81.58%, 46.74% and 2.08%, respectively. Degradation procedure of 2, 7-diCDD by the strain from a 12-day incubated culture liquid with 2, 7-diCDD was identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The results implied that the degradation pathway of 2, 7-diCDD by the strain was via hydroxy-diCDD.
