Historical development, applications and future study directions of WEP

摘要：

WEP (Water and Energy transfer Processes) is a physically-based distributed hydrological model. First, the model development history was briefly reviewed. Then, the model theory was concisely introduced, and some application examples were introduced. Last, existing problems were identified and future study directions of WEP were described.
