Development of integrated flood analysis model for urban area
A flood analysis model for urban area is developed in this study which could be useful tool to understand mechanism of inland flood, or to assess effectiveness of the countermeasures. The unstructured grid system is applied for the calculation of the surface flood, which can represent the shape of the districts, roads and railways more flexible than the regular grid system. The developed model consists of many hydraulic objects, such as 2D-surface mesh, 1Dchannel segment, bank, pump, storage pond, and etc. The program code of the model is written in object oriented programming style with C++ to reduce the cost for maintenance or addition of new hydraulic object. The test simulation is implemented and the simulation result agreed with the inundation record of actual flood.
