Evaluation of trophic status of reservoirs in Hai River Basin
As the reservoirs are playing an increasingly prominent role in urban water supply, industrial water demand and agricultural irrigation in Hai River Basin, the study about its water environment situation especially eutrophication is significant to the water environment security management. It could be found that the water environment situation of reservoirs in Hai River Basin is relatively well by statistics analysis, but during 2000 to 2006, 8% -30% of the reservoirs existed eutrophication problems, and there was negative correlation relationship between the reservoir eutrophication percentage and the reservoirs storage capacity. Four important reservoirs trophic status were evaluated by WeberFechner Law , results showed that Miyun Reservoir was in mesotropher state, Guanting Reservoir, Panjiakou Reservoir and Yuecheng Reservoir were in eutropher state and the eutrophication trend exacerbated in recent years. As reservoirs in Hai River Basin are facing eutrophication threat, steps should be carried out to control the inner, point and non-point pollution, to strengthen the ecological environment construction, to make sure the reservoirs good water quality.
