Construction of water resources network chart automatically based on DEM
Many challenges are associated with the construction of water resources network chart in specifiC applications. Water resources network chart for a large Basin plays a most important part in water resources allocation model, which item not only has a complicated process but also easily makes a mistake. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a new method to draw water resources network chart automatically on the basis of DEM data. The basic idea of the arithmetic is put forward the watershed delineation method of distributed hydrology model to draw water resources network chart automatically. The suggested method was applied to the Haihe River Basin. Based on the result, the method proved feasible and can greatly simplify the construction of water resources network chart, especially for large river basin.
