Some Solutions for Fuzzy Approzimate Reasoning in Sustainable Development Decision-Making and Monitoring Phase using Environmental Indicators

There are relatively few works dealing with approximate reasoning in environmental or sustainable development decision making and even rarer are those using fuzzy logic approach. The main aspects of such methodology are construction of appropriate linguistic variables based on environmental indicators(defined here as those that could have environmental preferences),construction of the rules for approximate reasoning and making the choice of right decision-making paradigm. The other important aspects associated with them are defining the measures of preferences, the ways of the expression of uncertainties and non-lineality of processes and sometimes, the incorporation of environmental modelling in decisionmaking. The paper is offering some new methodological approaches and opportunities in decision-making based on fuzzy logiC and non-lineal dynamics approach. The most important seems to be connection of decision-making and control phases of the projects and interventions. The proposed solutions are given from the mineral extraction projects and interventions, especially considering reclamation issues.
