ON COORDINATING STRATEGY FOR ONE-TO-MANY NEGOTIATION
One-to-many negotiation based on a number of concurrent bilateral negotiations has drawn much attention, in which a number of agents, all working on behalf of one party, negotiate individually with other parties. The key challenge in this one-to-many negotiation framework is how to coordinate multiple concurrent bilateral negotiations. In this paper, a coordinating strategy based on fuzzy logic techniques is proposed. After evaluating some environment factors, which include time, number of counterparts and current proposals from the counterparts, the coordinating strategy employs fuzzy rules and fuzzy-reasoning techniques to coordinate the multiple bilateral negotiations. The coordinating strategy is empirically evaluated and shown to operate well in situations where there is information uncertainty.
