ANALYZING TEMPORAL VARIATION OF TELECOM GRAPH STRUCTURE
In this paper, we are trying to retrieve useful information from the telecom graphs, in which the individual phone numbers (and hence its users) are the nodes and the edges correspond to a telephonic contact between the two nodes they connect. We study various structural properties of call graph as well as SMS graph. The experiment results show that the Bow-tie model, which was used to describe the web graph, characterizes our call graphs well. Further we present the experiment results of SMS graph by similar methods. Then we examine how call graphs evolve over time and try to find the relations between graph structure and the churn rate of the telecom subscribers. Finally we present our empirical results and conclusions.
