THE RESEARCH ON INTERFACE SENSIBILITY OF VULNERABILITIES IN IP MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM

摘要：

NGN introduces the revolutionized concept of fix-mobile convergence (FMC). NGN provides the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) platform to converge the wire and wireless network. Due to the large scale and the openness of IMS, it is supposed to confront severe vulnerabilities. This paper mainly focuses on the interface sensibility of vulnerabilities in IMS. From the view of interfaces that connecting the key network entities in IMS, this paper analyzes the threat and vulnerabilities and draws some conclusion. In addition, it summarizes the standard privacy and encryption security mechanism classified by the interface. Also, it probes into some vulnerability that cannot be solved only by the standard policy, and recommends one mechanism based on the interfaces and the function the specific interface permits.
