NEW BUILDING BLOCKS IN CONSTRUCTING NON-COVALENTLY CONNECTED MICELLES AND VESICLES

In the past decade we developed new strategies constructing polymeric micelles and vesicles via interpolymer hydrogen bonding. In the strategies, a series of homopolymers, random polymers and oligomers were used as building blocks to form so-called noncovalently connected micelles (NCCMs) in which hydrogen-bonds rather than chemical bonds connecting the core and shell. In this report we would discuss the results using new building blocks of rigid or semi-rigid polymers and dendrons.
