STUDY THE RELAXATION BEHAVIOR OF ISOTACTIC -POLYPROPYLENE INTERMITTENT SHEARED WITH AFM TIP
The flow and shear field in polymer melts is essential to control industrial processing methods such as extrusion, injection, blow molding and resultant product properties. The relaxation process of polymers contains the thermal kinetics of both segments and chains. Most of the traditional methods investigating the relaxation process of oriented polymer focused on the thermal dynamic behavior of segments.1-4 The relaxation of chains which oriented by shear flow influences the crystal nuclei and growth, induce the transformation of the morphology and structure of crystallization. How the oriented chains relax and the relaxation influence the microstructure are still not fully understood.
