DEWETTING BEHAVIOR OF POLYSTYRENE FILM FILLED WITH(C6H5C2H4NH3)Pbl4

The Addition of some nano-scale organic and inorganic additives into polymer thin films changes the properties of film itself and the interaction between film and substrate that changes the wettability of film.1,2 In this report, The dewetting behavior of a thin (about 30 nm) polystyrene (PS) film by addition of a small amount of (C6H5C2H4NH3) PbI4 (PhE-PbI4) is investigated. It shows whether the film would dewet the substrate and the dewetting dynamics and mechanism lie on the concentration of PhE-PbI4. Different concentrations of PhE-PbI4 generate different spatial distributions in the film, which changes the properties of film and then the dewetting behavior of the film.
