AQUEOUS SOLUTION PROPERTIES OF AMPHIPHILIC POLYMERS
Amphiphilic copolymers form micelles in aqueous media due to the strong hydrophobic interaction among copolymer chains. The micellization is important for their applications to the rheology modifier, emulsifier, drag delivery system, and so on, because the micellization changes remarkably their solution properties. Recently, we have investigated the micellar structure formed by amphiphilic random copolymers in dilute aqueous solution.1 In this study, we have extended the investigation of such micellar solutions to more concentrated aqueous solution properties.
