PHOTOSENSITIVE FUNCTIONAL POLYMER BASED ON AZOBENZENE DERIVATIVES

摘要：

A series of novel azobenzene derivatives with end functional groups (-COOH, -OH), HOOC-C6H4-N=N-C6H4-O(CH2)n-OH, have been freshly synthesized 1,2, in which n is the length of alkyl chains (n= 4, 6, 8). In consequence, the corresponding azopolymers containing azobenzene group in the side chain have been prepared based on an extremely reactive precursor polymer, poly(acryloyl chloride) (PAC) prepared from acryloyl chloride by radical polymerization 3 (see Scheme 1).
