BOND-SLIP RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETE AND OLD CONCRETE
With the self-compacting concrete as new concrete, the shear experiment of new and old concrete was conducted by the push-out shear test in order to study the bond and slip relationship between the new and old concrete. The effects of specific factors were also investigated in this research, such as strength of new concrete, roughness, binder and bonding length. The result shows that the bond stress-slip curve involves four parts: initial rigid portion, elastic deformation portion, elastic-plastic deformation portion and plastic demolish portion. Based on the test results, a basic model for bond and slip relationship at interface of new and old concrete is developed in this paper.
