TESTS OF INFLUENCE OF SELECTED HYDROPHOBIC AGENTS ON STRENGTH PARAMETERS OF CELLULAR CONCRETE USED IN BUILDING ENGINEERING

This paper presents tests results and the evaluation of the influence of selected hydrophobic agents (A, B and C mark) on basic strength parameters of cellular concrete used in building engineering. Bending and compressive strength, moisture absorbability and freeze-thaw resistance were tested. Analysis of the obtained results allowed a conclusion that the application of suitable hydrophobic products to cellular concrete furthers the modification of its given strength parameters. Subsequently, cellular concrete with modified strength parameters can be applied in building engineering for construction and modernization of objects.
